I read many reviews that said the sizing chart resulted in a hat too small. Well, as a femaile Auxiliarist must saying, I think the sizing is correct. I ordered a size larger than my CGAUX cap, and it's ok, but could fit better with the exact same size.
I ordered this one size larger (7 3/4) than the Combination Cap (7 5/8) . It is much tighter & uncomfortable. I have asked for an exchange.
My husband loved this hat ! It would be beneficial if the “AuxCen”. could offer it in 8x. Mens heads seem to get bigger as the get older. The hat shrinks a little when washed.
Came quickly but the size is not sewn or marked correctly so it was too small even though it was supposed to be size 7
Not as good as the military issue dark blue Tilly from the surplus store. And way over priced. 50.00 VS. 16.00
The hat arrived promptly. It is very well-made the only problem is the sizing is way off. It was way too small. If the return goes smoothly I will be ordering it again a couple of sizes larger.
Sized wayvto small
Like others, I found this runs a bit small - I normally wear 7 3/8, got a 7 1/2 and it's a fairly tight fit, hopefully will stretch a bit as it breaks in. The string is too short to be useful for anything and is just in the way (of course, is easily removeable). I'm not excited by this hat - but it's ok, and I need the sun protection.
This hat provides minimal sun protection whcih is the primary reason for wanting a Tilly hat. For $60 I'd just spend the money on sun block.
