I think this text and course (exams) materials need to be updated to reflect the most recent 2022 NASBLA RBS Core training standards.
The book is good but too repetetive in places where new material could be introduced. Too bad the price of 10 books doubled since the last order. Is this a case of Flotillas being ripped off or a real cost?

USCG Auxiliary Flotilla 52 and we have used this text to teach the Boat America course. I like it and find the layout to be good. I prefer the practice test setup in the About Boating Safely text as it pertains to the practice test answers. It supplies the page number so the student can quickly reference it for more information. A much better approach.
